What Idaho asks

Idaho lets parents instruct their children privately at home with no registration, reporting, testing or teacher qualification, and the state does not monitor home schools. The law asks that children be instructed in the subjects commonly and usually taught in Idaho public schools.

School age: Ages 7–15. A child who is 7 when school starts in the district must be instructed until age 16.

Private instruction by or at the direction of the parent
