Dates
- Enroll in a correspondence program: Any time in the school year: district programs must keep enrollment open all year (a program that is a charter school may limit enrollment).
- Yearly individual learning plan: Each school year, with the assigned certificated teacher, before purchases: allotment money can only buy what the plan's course of study requires.
- Unspent allotment: An unspent balance stays on the child's account while the child stays enrolled in the same program; it goes back to the program when the child leaves. Program-specific spending and reimbursement cut-off dates are set by each program.
